This role will focus on design of server hardware, private cloud environments and modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will also be involved with implementing and supporting the system infrastructure design, including compute server, storage, network, and performance testing.
This position will support design test / selloff; requiring some overtime as needed as well as limited (local) travel as required for system support.

Specialized skills required for this position:
- Experience cloud architectures utilizing AWS
- Experience with automation tools such as Chef (preferred), Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack, Fabric or similar products for O/S builds
- Experience in Containerization using tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
- Experience with Modernization efforts from legacy on Prem systems to newer DevOps designs
- Experience with design and test of COTS Infrastructures
- Experience design and integration of enterprise virtualization technologies (i.e. VMWare and related toolsets)
- Hands on Experience with Windows and/or Linux System Administration
- Working knowledge of networks and storage
- Security / CISSP within 90 days of start
- Understanding of Change Management processes - Version Control of software and applications using tools such as: ClearCase and ClearQuest
- The ability to effectively plan their own work
- 5 year experience in related field
- Able to obtain/current TS/SCI Clearance
- Current Security / CISSP certification
- Background in COTS product installation
- Experience with DevSecOps and security related implementation into designs
- Scripting skills (i.e. PowerShell, Python, Ruby, bash, etc.)
- BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) degree preferred OR 14 year exp in lieu of degree
