What are the responsibilities and job description for the Power Test Engineer Aerospace position at Associates Systems LLC?
Position is Hybrid located in Houston Tx or LA, California.

- Integration, verification, and validation of the Power systems for power distribution, and regularion for avionics and aircraft as a whole
- Perform validation tests of electrical components and systems hardware in a hardware in the loop (HIL) testing lab.
- Define requirements and drive design decisions
- Plan integration of new hardware, software, and test stands.
- Design, build, maintain, and resolve issues with test support equipment.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and algorithms together to produce a flight ready application.
- Integrate signal processing, control, or related algorithms to run efficiently on embedded platforms.
- Coordinate with the HIL team to ensure verification
- Participate in design for test/manufacture/cost reviews.
- Effectively communicate development status, risks, and challenges to management.
- Write technical memos, documentation and devise ways to gain information.
- B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Aerospace, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Physics, or related technical fields
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident.
