What will you be doing?
Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Community Day Services program, and for assuring compliance with all applicable DHS, DPH, CARF, and local rules and standards, and agency policies and procedures. Supervise assigned staff, and provide clients and staff members with a team oriented, positive, professional and safe environment to learn and work. Maintain safety, staffing, and client documentation in accordance with all applicable state, local, and agency standards and procedures. maintains all applicable documentation, records, and reports related to provided services and supports, and functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team. Provides input and information to the IDT as needed and functions as a QIDP if assigned, developing and implementing individual programs and maintaining documentation and records as required

What will you bring to the table?
- Bachelors degree in a human service field required; Masters Degree preferred
- Minimum two years paid experience in the field of developmental disabilities required
- Supervisory experience required
- Must meet qualifications as a QIDP
- Attend and pass DHS mandated QIDP training within 6 months of hire; maintain QIDP CEUs
What are the other requirements?
- Significant walking and standing daily, with occasional running for short periods of time
- Ability to push, pull, reach, stoop, and bend
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to assist individuals with their physical needs and personal care, including two-person lift or transfer, with no physical or medical restrictions
- Must be able to intervene physically using applied CPI techniques and/or restraints after training, with no physical or medial restrictions
