Specialist - Staff Training BH

The Association for Individual Development (AID) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower people with physical, developmental, intellectual, mental health challenges, those who have suffered a trauma, and those at risk to enjoy lives of dignity and purpose. We are looking for a Specialist Staff Trainer for BH who exemplifies that mission, and wants to work for an organization that makes a difference.
Schedule: 8:30-5pm or 8-4:30pm Monday- Friday
What will you be doing?
- Instruct agency mandated trainings, in person and virtual, including Behavioral Health topics
- Document and maintain training reports and records. Work collaboratively with programs and management to assure completion of assigned training by staff, interns and volunteers in an expeditious manner
- Assure training materials are routinely updated with current policies, procedures, and best practice. Assure behavioral health managed care organization trainings are up to date and current.
- Document and maintain training reports and records
- As needed, enroll new hires into Relias ensuring they are assigned training according to position and location as needed.

Qualifications
What will you bring to the Table?
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology
- Clinical License preferred but not required.
- Experience working in the field of behavioral health,
- Experience instruction, teaching, or presenting subject based material preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Position requires the use of the employee’s personal automobile to drive self to work multiple locations Must have and maintain, a valid driver’s license, the minimum amount of automobile liability insurance as defined by AID’s personnel policies, and AID’s driver eligibility requirements
- Meet Healthcare Worker Background Check and School Background check requirements.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to meet training needs.
- Good teaching skills

- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
