Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between AUVSI members and Capitol Hill, providing real-time advocacy intelligence and guidance on key policy areas affecting the uncrewed systems sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Members of Congress, Congressional Committees, and their staff.
- Track and advocate for legislation, regulations, policies, and funding that align with AUVSI's priorities.
- Represent AUVSI on Capitol Hill and within the Executive Branch, ensuring our voice is heard on critical issues.
- Develop, write, and review briefs, letters, and other materials to support advocacy efforts and member communications.
- Respond effectively to Congressional inquiries on pending legislation and regulatory matters.
- Assist in the creation and execution of advocacy strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
