About the Role
AMC seeks a part-time (20 hours per week) Coordinator to join our team. The Accreditation Coordinator provides program and project support for American College of Veterinary Pathologists, (ACVP)'s accreditation program by navigating day-to-day operations as well as committee and board support, web content maintenance, and accreditation software management.
The coordinator continually monitors progress toward defined objectives by collecting and analyzing data and communicating with the Training Program Accreditation Committee, (TPAC), the board of directors, and faculty and staff. This role interfaces with academic administrators, technical personnel, and other partners to ensure accurate compilation, retention, and submission of data.
This role reports to the Director of Education and Director of Certification and operates primarily as the central unit for collecting, processing, analyzing, reporting and maintaining official TPAC data.
Responsibilities
- Provides operations support to assist with the execution of the Training Program Accreditation, (TPA) work plan.
- Implements application platform and onboards committee members regarding review process components.
- Distributes applications, Interim Reports and five-year reaccreditation applications for each program.
- Helps ensure compliance for Training Program Accreditation Policy and Procedures.
- Facilitates institutional partnerships with potential and participating training programs including serving as the primary staff point-of-contact.
- Relays technical and professional guidance, consultation and support to faculty and administrators, and other related personnel as it pertains to the institution's progress toward accreditation and collection of data.
- Provides communications with institutions via telephone, email, or mailing and ensures accurate information and high-quality service,
- Collaborates with technical personnel to develop, implement and evaluate methods for collecting and analyzing data; oversees technical platforms for collecting, maintaining and reporting data.
- Serves as liaison to the Member Services and Certifying Examination Team to respond to inquiries.
- Compiles comprehensive narrative data; assists with the preparation of official assessment reports to summarize findings.
- Serves as a liaison to TPAC, TPAC Board Liaison, and ACVP Board.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years professional experience including project management in an administrative capacity (supporting education and / or certification activities a plus)
- Excellent customer orientation, interpersonal skills and professionalism
- Consistent attention to detail with demonstrated quality output
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously, meeting established deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff and volunteers
