About the Role
The Marketing Direct Mail Channel Manager oversees the performance, strategy and fulfillment of specific marketing channels, including direct mail and print, ensuring alignment with the company's overall marketing objectives. This role involves managing campaigns, analyzing data, and fostering partnerships to maximize channel effectiveness.
The Day-to-Day
Strategy Development
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for direct mail channel.
- Marketing execution, establishing regular work streams and project meetings, documenting and following up on actions / risks identified from the meetings.
Performance Management
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of channel strategies and implement improvements to optimize ROI.Content Collaboration
Partner with content creators, designers, and external vendors to produce engaging, channel-specific materials that resonate with target audiences.Budget Oversight
Manage channel-specific budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness of campaigns.Campaign Fulfillment
Manage the channel-specific fulfillment of compliant, timely and effective tactics.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with sales, product, and analytics teams to ensure alignment of messaging, goals, and initiatives across all touchpoints.Negotiates resource requirements with administrative, call center and other communication teams when faced with conflicts in priorities.Market Research
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.Reporting and Insight
Prepare regular performance channel analysis, offering actionable insights and recommendations to optimize results.Agility & Adaptability
Quickly adapt to changes in channel performance, industry trends, and business priorities, ensuring marketing strategies remain effective.Attention to Detail
Ensure accuracy and consistency in campaign execution, reporting, and content delivery to maintain brand integrity and compliance.Vendor & Association Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, industry associations, and partners to optimize marketing efforts and ensure seamless campaign execution.Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and collaborate on marketing initiatives to drive business growth.Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.1-5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on direct mail with strong attention to detail and understanding in the customer journey.Understanding of various marketing channels, specifically direct mail preferred.Exceptional communication and project management skills.Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A data-driven mindset with a knack for interpreting analytics to improve results.Knowledge in marketing analytics tools preferred (e.g., Google Analytics).Familiarity with A / B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques.Experience with Adobe InDesign for marketing asset creation and refinement.Basic proficiency in SQL for analyzing marketing data and extracting insights.Proven ability to pivot strategies and adjust campaigns based on performance data, emerging trends, and shifting business priorities.Experience managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with associations and internal stakeholders to enhance marketing initiatives.Benefits
