Position Summary :
Langson IMCA is a start-up organization within the University of California public education system, founded in 2017. Reporting to the Associate Director of Education and Community Engagement, the Teaching Artist will collaborate with Museum Educators, mentor UCI students as Museum Art Educators, and build relationships with partner K-12 schools and the University. Responsibilities include researching, developing, implementing, and presenting museum education programs, coordinating program logistics, and developing lesson plans for the Education Department’s Virtual School Visit and multi-visit program.

53,400.00 – $63,550.00 (Annual Salary) Expected Pay Range within the Full Salary Range $53,400.00 – $94,000.00 (Annual Salary)
Required :
- Knowledge of art education, studio art, or visual arts and studio practice
- Bachelor’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training. Continuing education in related field required.
- Thorough knowledge of museum educational techniques and approaches.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Comfortable working with the public and students of all ages.
