Associate / Senior Engineer
105,000 – $185,000 Annually (DOQ)
The Associate / Senior Engineer position is a management level position reporting to the District Engineer. The position is responsible for engineering functions including, but not limited to, land development, water resources, planning, capital improvement projects (CIPs), customer service, budgets, and various day-to-day tasks. The position assists the District Engineer in the development, implementation, and evaluation of short- and long-term engineering goals and objectives to achieve the District’s mission, strategic plan, and Board priorities. This position requires strong project and construction management skills. Must be able to effectively manage multiple disciplines, meet deadlines, and make sound decisions.
Camrosa is currently developing a Master Plan that will include infrastructure priorities as well as new local water CIPs to enhance our water portfolio and reduce our dependence on import water. Potential projects include groundwater recharge, RO plant(s), new wells, and expansion of non-potable / recycle water.
Minimum Requirements :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
- License or Certification : Registration as a Professional Engineer or possession of a California Engineering in Training (EIT, FE) with the ability to obtain PE license within eighteen months.
- Experience : Definable exceptional experience managing projects and working with engineering staff and a proven record of “getting the right stuff done right”.
