What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Marketing Specialist position at Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE)?

We're looking for a detail-oriented Product Marketing Specialist to support the management and promotion of ACFE products, including exam preparation software, certificate programs, self-study courses, books, and merchandise. In this role, you'll assist with marketing initiatives, product development, and event promotions while working closely with the Product Marketing Manager to enhance our product portfolio.
Essential Functions:
- Handles administrative work related to managing the ACFE product portfolio, including (but not limited to) setting up and updating products in Zuora and Salesforce and building and updating product webpages in Sitecore.
- Supports the implementation and usability of the New Product Development Framework, which includes assisting in market research, competitive analysis, data analysis and product launches.
- Supports the sale and/or promotion of ACFE products at events, both ACFE events and others, such as chapter conferences. This includes, but is not limited to, selecting products, managing logistics, staffing, merchandising, packing and unpacking.
- Supports Customer Service Representatives with product-related information, tools and resources to improve sales processes and member satisfaction.
- Collaborates with Product Marketing Manager to plan, execute and analyze promotions to increase product sales, as well as the ideation of new ACFE merchandise.
- Supports digital marketing programs for products, including (but not limited to) PPC advertising.
- Collaborates with Product Marketing Manager and Content team to develop and quality-check collateral for ACFE products.
- Performs other duties as requested or required.
Required:
- 3-5 years of direct marketing experience. Bachelors degree in communications, business, or marketing a plus.
- Demonstrated critical and analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective usage of English grammar, syntax and punctuation.
- Proven skills in organizing work, attending to detail, taking direction, managing time effectively, and handling multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Skills in collaborating with internal and external resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and advanced skills using Excel as well as experience using Marketo, Asana and Google Ads a plus.
- Some travel required (<10%).
