Job Summary
The Chief Financial and Operations Officer serves on the senior leadership team and oversees and collaborates with staff members in the Business Office and in the Facilities, Buildings and Grounds, Security and Technology departments. In addition, the CFO attends all Board of Trustees meetings and liaises directly with the Budget, Investment, Risk, and Buildings and Grounds committees of the Board.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and manage the Business Office team of four.
- Oversee the childcare learning center, as well as outsourced contracts for housekeeping and food services.
- Partner with a strategic, energetic, and ambitious Head of School, Board of Trustees, senior leadership team, and broader community of students, parents, alumni, faculty, and staff to write the next chapter in our great school's history.
Requirements
We seek an individual with a bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years of business or school finance experience. A CPA or master's degree in business, accounting, finance, law, or related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen to oversee the school's financial portfolio and manage its daily operations.
