The Director engages current and prospective donors using a variety of means to secure and increase philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and foundations.JOB DUTIES70% - Divisional Prospect and Donor DevelopmentIdentify new sources of potential gift support for the division.Work with the Executive Director to create and execute cultivation and solicitation strategies.Maintain a portfolio of approximately 100 major-gift-level prospective donors.25% - Support Departments and Programs with Development ActivitiesWork with departments on targeted mass appeals related to their fundraising goals.Help ensure the annual Giving Day runs smoothly in the division.5% - General Service and Professional DevelopmentParticipate in University Advancement and their home division meetings and professional development throughout the year.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.Demonstrated experience in a complex fundraising environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAdvanced Degree.Knowledge of planned giving techniques.SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTSelected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check.MISCONDUCT DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTAs a condition of employment, the final candidate will be required to disclose any past misconduct.APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO USE THE UCSC ON-LINE PROCESSView full job description and access online application : here .#J-18808-Ljbffr
