Position Purpose
ASPPH is seeking a project coordinator to join our dedicated in-house web development team to deliver innovative software and services for the ASPPH Center for Public Health Workforce Development.
Primary Responsibilities
This coordinator position will be responsible for successfully coordinating and managing software development lifecycle processes, documentation, and communication among cross-collaborative teams focused on delivering ASPPH Center for Public Health Workforce Development deliverables. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys collaboration in an ever-changing environment, and can multi-task technical projects ranging from moderate to high complexity. The individual works closely with the web development team and with staff from other departments including marketing, communications, and design teams to deliver quality digital products, realizing faster time-to-value for ASPPH's members, partners, and funders.
- Manage the scheduling, collaborating, and communicating of project work following the software development lifecycle.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings and distribute action items and meeting information back to core team members and project collaborators.
- Continuously share project information between core team members and project collaborators.
- Create, update, and present supportive project artifacts, requirements, and user stories.
- Strategize and implement how to break down projects into doable actions, set timeframes, and deliver work to members on time.
- Track project progress and follow up on status reports and change requests, ensuring project information is kept up-to-date and required deliverables are completed on time.
- Ensure project collaborators' needs are met as projects evolve in an Agile / SCRUM setting.
- Conduct hands-on usability and user experience assessments alongside UI design and web development teams.
- Assist with content management within WordPress content management systems (CMS)
- Manage completing and coordinating helpdesk tickets promptly.
- Prepare monthly Google analytic reports for all grant-funded web assets.
- Other duties as assigned

Work locale : ASPPH has its headquarters office located in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will be will located within a reasonable commute of downtown Washington, D.C. in order to work in-person once per week or in one of the following states if permanently remote : MI, CO, FL, GA, MA, MD, NC, TX, VA, NY, or WV.
Reports to : Senior Director of Innovation and Strategy
Manages / supervisors : No supervisory responsibilities.
Authority to work in the U.S. : The individual must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. ASPPH participates in E-Verify to confirm eligibility.
Travel requirements : Some travel may be necessary for ASPPH Annual Meeting and / or professional development opportunities.
Compensation : The position's compensation level is based on industry salary surveys and the individual's experience. ASPPH also takes into consideration the internal pay equity of our existing team members. The salary range for this position is $59,000 - $64,000. We typically do not hire at the maximum level to allow for salary growth. ASPPH offers a generous benefits package, detailed below. This position is contingent on federal grand funds.
