Casa de Amparo is seeking a dynamic and experienced nonprofit financial leader to serve as our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) . This is a unique opportunity for a strategic and mission-driven professional to drive financial excellence in a growing social services agency dedicated to supporting youth affected by abuse and neglect.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will provide strategic financial leadership to ensure the organization’s fiscal health and alignment with its mission. Working closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and department heads, the CFO will develop and implement financial strategies to support operational excellence and growth.
Responsibilities include overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with nonprofit regulations and GAAP. The CFO will manage cash flow, monitor revenue and expenses, and develop the annual budget to align resources with strategic priorities. The role also involves managing grants, risk, insurance, investment strategies, and diversifying funding sources.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who will lead and mentor the accounting team, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and strengthen productive relationships with donors, funders, financial consultants and banking institutions . The role includes providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making at the executive and board levels.

Requirements :
