We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager, Store Planning & Interiors with strong creative and project management experience to support growing business. The Project Manager is responsible for managing new development synergies and efficiencies within the company’s Boutiques and Library/ Culture Lounge brands, as necessary, in all global markets. The ideal candidate should have experience in full-service projects and have been heavily involved with all aspects of the design to build process. We handle luxury retail boutiques and branded corner design projects and are looking for someone who is willing to work hard as well as be a strong support to our creative and commercial team.
Responsibilities:
Boutiques/ Branded Corners
- Create trade show booth design
- Supporting client needs and all ordering (specifications, purchase orders, shipping, etc.)
- Sourcing materials, furniture and objects
- Managing and having thorough knowledge of all items within client files like specifications, meeting notes, etc.
- Use CAD to create accurate, dimensioned technical drawings that illustrate design intent for bid sets
- Study traditional, period, and contemporary design styles and motifs to obtain perspective.
- Support Create of Visual Merchandising planning and building of store displays.
Project Management
- Support team on projects and activities related to new boutiques from design to construction, completion, and turnover.
- Follow up communication with contractors and vendors to ensure that timing, needs, and priorities are aligned across project development.
- Support facilities operations activities, including code compliance and ongoing maintenance matters, and ensure timely and cost-effective adherence and resolution.
- Oversee all architectural and construction projects and activities related to the development of new culture lounges and/or renovation of existing projects, from layout and design to construction completion and turnover.
- Ensure adherence to Capex and OpenX budgets for construction, enhancements, and facility maintenance. Maintain awareness of any overages and recommend solutions, as necessary.
- Oversee all project management activities, ensuring that timing, needs, and priorities are aligned across all store development projects to drive the synergistic and efficient use of resources and services.
- Oversee facilities operations activities, including code compliance and ongoing maintenance matters, and ensure timely and cost-effective adherence and resolution.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience working in high-end residential or commercial design
- Strong AutoCAD and SketchUp skills
- Illustrator preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Adobe Creative Cloud experience
- Degree from an accredited design school
- Excellent communication skills and willing to listen/take notes
- Self-driven worth ethic and the ability to follow through with pending items, including anticipating questions and creating solutions
- Strong organizational skills- including efficiency
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
- Strong leadership and team management ability
- Discretion with confidential client and business information
- MUST be willing to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30% travel may be required)

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $100,000-$120,000 annually based on experience. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Salary Transparency Law.
