Job Description

As the Warehouse Coordinator, you are responsible for the daily warehouse operations. Receiving, logging, staging, and organization of all materials that enter the warehouse. This position is currently part time with potential for full time employment.

Job Functions

  • Assist Procurement Specialist with purchasing materials from Vendors as required on project estimates. Internally focused on accuracy, low cost, and timely delivery is a success factor.
  • Receipt of materials in the warehouse, which includes accurate delivery information and recording into the company’s accounting/software system.
  • Scan all vendor packing slips and save to the Purchase Order
  • Log all serial numbers of specified products in ConnectWise
  • All deliveries require an accurate physical count and inspection for damage. Discrepancies should be recorded and reported to the vendor and appropriate action taken to ensure alternative goods are available. Seek management assistance if required.
  • Stage and expedite job materials in the warehouse to ensure availability for the technician assigned to the job. Utilize excess stock materials, when possible, to improve profitability.
  • Daily control of inventory movement incoming and outgoing.
  • Daily review of order acknowledgements for pricing and quantity variances.
  • Daily control of stock inventory.
  • Monthly inventory review.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and warehouse organization. Areas are to be clutter free at all times. Desks and work areas are to be organized and free of excess materials or trash.
  • Maintain cleanliness of parking lot surrounding building for safety and appearance.
  • Assist Accounts Payable when needed to ensure order processing and tracking.
  • Material delivery when needed and coordinated to ensure warehouse coverage.

  • Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential for both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Creative self-starter with strong initiative, ability to take ownership and work independently as well as contribute to the broader team.
  • Maintain flexibility to work overtime as the business requires.
  • Competency to drive and use a mechanical forklift
  • Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • Possess and have the ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
  • Safe use of company vehicles.

A professional, neat appearance is expected. A casual, outgoing personality is appreciated.

You MUST be able to pass a government CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK, DRUG SCREEN, have RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION and possess a VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE.

EDUCATION

  • High School diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Must have OSHA Forklift Certification, as well as complete any other trainings company may require.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this highly physical position, the Warehouse Coordinator is frequently required to sit; talk; hear; and use hands, arms, and fingers. Hard hats, safety glasses safety shoes, work gloves and hearing protection may be required to be worn. This position requires walking, stooping, bending, reaching overhead, kneeling and carrying items. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs. and frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs. This position requires the ability to work from ladders and forklifts.
