Software Developer
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Full Stack Software Developer to join our growing AA Direct team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services using C#, JavaScript, and .NET Core. You will be a key member of our dynamic development team, working in an Agile environment, contributing to both front-end and back-end development, and driving the growth of our platform.

About The ROLE
Each day at AssuranceAmerica is different, but as Software Developer in Information Technology , you will:
- Work as a member of the AADirect digital agency.
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using C#,.NET Core, along with JavaScript, React, or Angular.
- Implement and maintain Azure-based cloud services and integrate them with existing systems.
- Experience of developing, maintaining, and designing websites and applications with high throughput.
- Experience working with third-partyvendors to improve website experience for the user.
- Build and optimize databases, with a focus on both performance and reliability, using SQL Server or other relational database management systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices and industry standards. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure the highest level of performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work with event-driven architecture, implementing asynchronous communication patterns and message-based services to ensure scalability and flexibility of the system.
- Continuously improve your knowledge and skills, and keep up with new technologies and development trends.
About YOU
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, with JavaScript, React, or Angular for full-stack development.
- Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, specifically Azure, and experience working with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, and proficiency in SQL.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and perform performance tuning.
- Experience in a start-up or fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of professional software development experience in Microsoft Stack environment.
- Familiarity with best practices in web security, coding standards, and performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex development challenges.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, especially Azure DevOps.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (particularly CosmosDB).
- Familiarity with Azure Bicep for managing infrastructure as code.
- Strong knowledge and practice experience with event-driven architecture, including message queues, event streams, and asynchronous communication.
- Experience with GA4 and AB testing tools (bonus points for GA4).
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- May be required to work on-call, evenings or weekends
