What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Business Performance & Strategy (60%)
- Partner with business leaders to drive financial performance and align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Finance, Accounting, Operations, Capital & Investments etc.) to ensure alignment on assumptions to deliver short- and long-term business objectives
- Provide data-driven insights to leadership through advanced financial modeling and analytics to drive business decisions
- Develop and implement simplified, scalable solutions that drive financial efficiency, transparency and enable decision making
- Develop and identify the key metrics and leading indicators that drive business results to enhance understanding of business performance and improve forecasting
- Prepare and present insightful analysis to finance and business leaders in support of strategic objectives, leading to timely actions and value creation.
- Develop and recommend solutions in the event of deviations from intended value
- Lead the Enterprise Expense story, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of expense allocation, business trends, and financial implications.
- Lead the deployment of process automation and other digital finance solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial operations, automate manual processes, and reduce complexity.
- Partner with IT, Data, and Finance teams to enhance financial reporting and analytics tools.
- Champion the use of AI, predictive analytics, and machine learning to enhance forecasting and decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance management to ensure team success.
- Drive process improvements and implement financial systems to enhance reporting and analysis capabilities.
- Prepare and assist in presentations to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Focus on leading and cultivating a high-performing support team, continuously attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
Financial Responsibility - Business decision support to ensure achievement of enterprise financial goals
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- 5 years of experience in deploying process automation, analytics, and digital finance solutions.
- Proven expertise in deploying process automation, AI-driven analytics, and digital finance solutions.
- Expertise in managing complex budgets exceeding $2B, ensuring financial alignment with business strategy and operational priorities.
- Experience leading finance transformation initiatives, process simplification, and automation projects.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, reporting, and risk management.
- Proven ability to partner with executive leadership, influence decisions, and drive financial strategy.
- Expertise in ERP systems, automation tools, and financial data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with a results-driven mindset.
- Visionary leader with a track record of financial innovation and technology adoption.
- Ability to simplify complex financial data into actionable insights for business leaders.
- Strong change management expertise, navigating teams through automation and process transformation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment with evolving priorities.
- Advanced degree MBA and/or CPA preferred.
- Background & knowledge in insurance industry.
- Direct experience in partnering with a business to manage their P&L, and ensuring business growth and profitability.
- Experience leading teams and driving them to excel.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to leverage information through advance analytics to produce valuable business, market, and customer insights.
