Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Loan Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, evaluating their financial needs, and providing tailored loan solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial products, regulations, and excellent customer service skills to ensure a smooth lending experience. Looking for Lending experience preferred but not required if you have combination of Sales, Commission, and Loan account management.

- Provide expert advice on various loan products including mortgages, personal loans, and business loans.
- Facilitate the loan origination process from application to closing.
- Conduct thorough underwriting assessments to determine borrower eligibility.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and TILA standards throughout the lending process.
- Utilize financial software to manage client data and track loan applications.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up.
- Collaborate with real estate agents, appraisers, and other professionals involved in the loan process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations affecting lending practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar financial sales role.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing, loan origination processes, and underwriting criteria.
- Familiarity with financial software tools used in the lending industry.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Basic math skills for calculating loan amounts, interest rates, and payment schedules.
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and TILA compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills to assess financial data accurately.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
