We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Paraplanner/Associate Advisor. This role offers an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth, with a clear path to becoming a Financial Advisor and potentially a practicing partner within the firm.
Position Overview:
This role begins with a focus on customer service and paraplanning, supporting our Financial Advisors in delivering top-tier service. Over time, the position is designed to evolve into an advisory role, with the potential for the candidate to eventually become a lead advisor or even a practicing partner.
The ideal candidate may be an entry-level professional or someone with a few years of experience in customer service or administrative roles, looking to transition into a financial services producer role as the skillset is developed. Or the candidate might already be a licensed producer that sees greater opportunity for themselves when placed into a system with proven processes aligned to enhance successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support:
- Prepare agendas and recommend action items for client portfolio, financial plan, and tax planning meetings.
- Attend client appointments, document action items, and follow up on assignments to ensure completion.
- Draft and send post-meeting summaries outlining next steps for both clients and the internal team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in firm technology systems (e.g., Advyzon, Charles Schwab and others).
Paraplanning & Administrative Support:
- Create and update financial plans and tax plans from start to finish for new and existing clients.
- Manage and prioritize client communications, including phone calls and emails.
- Assist with projects or tasks as assigned by the firm principal.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Comfort using computer based tools.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- A high proficiency in math.
Preferred:
- 2–5 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or a related field.
- Progress toward or completion of relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Series 6, 63, 7; Illinois Life and Health Insurance License).
