Position Summary
Assured Guaranty is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence analyst to support the adoption of modern technology transformations and robust reporting initiatives. This person will play a pivotal role in identifying, analyzing, and implementing strategic data solutions that enhance our business operations and improve employee data experiences companywide. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, creative problem-solving, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for reports and visualizations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Innovation Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and develop new data-driven strategies and solutions.
Reporting & Visualization: Create and deliver clear, compelling reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Conduct UAT to ensure data solutions meet business needs and adhere to quality standards.
Data Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess data quality to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability in reporting and analysis.
Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in existing data processes and propose enhancements to streamline operations and increase productivity.
Research & Trends: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to leverage best practices in data innovation.
Team Collaboration: Partner with IT professionals, and business leaders to align data initiatives with organizational goals.
Training & Mentorship: Provide training and support to team members on new data tools and methodologies.
Candidate Background
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI) and Snowflake.
Strong understanding of data visualization and storytelling techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, capable of presenting complex data clearly.
Experience with machine learning or predictive analytics is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Compensation
Annual base salary for the position is expected to be from $120,000 per year to $145,000 per year. The actual salary will depend on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience and credentials, salary expectations of applicable candidates, and other applicable market conditions. This position also provides applicable employee benefits, as well as eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and long-term incentive awards.
