Job Description:
The University of Louisville is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Technician to join their team on a travel contract in Louisville, Kentucky.
This position will involve working 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, from 7am to 3pm. The ideal candidate will have a current state license as a EP Tech and at least 2 years of recent experience in the field.
The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn are also essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing electrophysiology procedures, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), pacemaker interrogations, and other diagnostic tests.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient data, test results, and treatment plans.
- Providing exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the testing process.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and technologists, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technology, techniques, and guidelines in electrophysiology.
Requirements:
- Current state license as a EP Tech.
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a EP Tech.
- Excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
