Job Summary
This is a travel Echo Technologist position in Decatur, Illinois. The successful candidate will possess a current state license as a Echo Tech and have at least 2 years of recent experience as a Echo Tech.
Responsibilities
- Echocardiography procedures using various ultrasound equipment
- Interpreting echocardiogram results and communicating findings to healthcare team members
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Performing routine maintenance on ultrasound equipment
- Developing and maintaining accurate patient records
Requirements
- Current state license as a Echo Tech
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a Echo Tech
- Strong knowledge of echocardiography principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems
