About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform histological procedures, including tissue processing and slide preparation.
- Conduct quality control checks on slides and samples.
- Maintain accurate records of testing results and specimen information.
- Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff to ensure efficient and accurate testing.
Requirements:
- Certified or registered as a Histology Technician (HT) or HTL.
- At least 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
- Current state license as a Laboratory professional.
Working Conditions:
This is an 8-hour per day, 40-hour per week position in a clinical laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
