Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a travel nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the PCU, including administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying potential risks and complications.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and care provided.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- CURRENT state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- At least 2 years of recent experience as a Stepdown RN or in a similar acute care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and efficiently between patient rooms.
