Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Event Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle conflicts effectively, and a commitment to loss prevention. The Event Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the premises through proactive surveillance and response to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
• Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities.
• Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing security policies.

Requirements

• Class D Security License
• Previous security experience is a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
