Unarmed Security Guard- 1st shift 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant 1st shift Security Guard from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during emergencies or investigations.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and concise manner.
• Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security guard services, or military service is preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a valid security guard license as required by Florida state regulations.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
