Summary: The Project/Installation Manager (P/I) manages customer lifecycle from contract execution to project completion. This includes scheduling installations with ASE installers, customer interactions, permitting, as well as warranty and service projects. The P/I Manager is responsible for supervising the installers and electricians. (Supervising from an electrical code standpoint is the responsibility of the Master Electrician.) This position is critical to the success of our company’s bottom line. Projects are residential, commercial, and industrial.
Candidates must be in the area and able to commute to North Yarmouth, Maine.
Qualifications:
· Excellent communication (verbal and written), as well as organizational skills.
· Able to manage multiple projects at once, setting overall installation/repair calendar, implementing daily schedule, and setting priorities and executing them.
· Detail oriented, accurate and consistent with data collection and input.
· Experience managing an installation crew.
· Experience managing a multi-project installation schedule.
· Maintains valid US driver’s license.
Essential Functions:
· Working with the sales team creates and executes the company master installation calendar, including new jobs, warranty, service and repair.
· Conducts the daily 7am Planning Meeting with installers/electricians to review Safety Plan, manage personnel, workflow, and logistics to complete work under contract.
· Accurately records project milestones and customer/project related communications into project management program in a timely manner
· Utility Interconnection Management – Prepares and tracks Interconnection Applications, Technical Screens, Net Energy Billing Applications and Certificates of Completion for each job.
· Manages the process of obtaining local building and electrical permits.
· Manages and tracks outside vendor who creates Project Plan Sets and Bills of Material. Manages material orders with vendors, and timely delivery of major components directly to job site.
· May be called on to deliver tools and supplies to job sites.
· Provides timely one-to-one customer service (phone and online) to external and internal customers, as well as to suppliers (new orders and warranty repairs).
· Excellent phone skills fielding telephone calls from customers, vendors, town administrators and inspectors.

PERSONNELL
· Supervises company installers and electricians. Monitors daily timecards for accuracy.
· Confirms installers are trained in manufacturer’s latest installation protocols.
TECHNICAL
· Develops Bills of Materials for job components.
· Accurately accounts for, and packs up, (kits) all pieces of the installation prior transporting to the job site.
· Confirms projects are constructed in accordance with the plans and manufacturers specifications.
· Monitors job site compliance with manufacturer’s installation requirements.
