The Account Manager will provide high-level sales support to the Producer and exceptional customer service to the members of our School Pools in Ohio & Kentucky.

Our Account Manager will partner with our sales team and work independently on sales opportunities to lead the day-to-day management of current clients' insurance programs. The Account Manager will provide high-level sales support to the Producer and exceptional customer service to the members of our School Pools in Ohio & Kentucky.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrates significant independent judgment and discretion to meet service levels
- Assists in selling and direct selling
- Handles marketing and customer service in coordination with other Agency personnel
- Located in Ohio & Kentucky, Florida
- Assist Producer: Support the Producer with proposals for all pool members.
- Client Services: Provide clients with comprehensive exposure reviews and annual renewal applications.
- Risk Management: Advise clients on effective methods for handling risks.
- New Business: Collaborate with the Producer to write new business accounts, including policy/exposure reviews, market submissions, proposals, and binders.
- Renewal Process: Lead accounts through the renewal process according to department procedures. Market accounts to insurance carriers and wholesalers as directed.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain records according to Agency standards, ensuring procedures are followed and information is properly documented and accessible.
- Relationship Development: Develop strong personal relationships with insurance carrier personnel. Assist the Agency in developing carrier relationships by executing strategies to meet carrier goals and objectives.
- Training and Supervision: Train and direct technical support personnel, including Account Managers, Account Coordinators, and Analysts, to meet essential duties and responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Some travel may be required.

- Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; a minimum of 3 years of insurance customer service experience. Experience with pooling and/or School Board/Public Entity insurance is preferred.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with agency management systems, Internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.
