Overview

As experts in protecting what matters most to businesses and individuals, we’re looking to bring on our next Account Manager to support our Aerospace Commercial Lines department and deliver exceptional risk management solutions to our growing client base. 

 

The Account Manager will be responsible for renewal retention of existing aircraft insurance customer by quoting, selling, and writing personal aircraft insurance for aircraft owners in a fast-paced, high volume insurance agency. This position requires a significant degree of independent judgement and discretion to facilitate day-to-day management of current clients' insurance programs. 

 

This is a hybrid role after training period. Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.

What You'll Do

  • Primary focus is retention of existing customers in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Must interact with underwriters at multiple insurance companies by phone and email to obtain insurance quotes and issue renewal policies.
  • Outbound efforts include contacting customers to gather additional information, responding to internet requests for quotes, and following up on quoted but not renewed customers.
  • Explain insurance coverages and offer insurance advice to prospective and existing customers.
  • Maintains records according to Agency standards, ensures that procedures are properly followed and that information ins properly documented and readily accessible.
  • Assists in the development of strong personal relationships with insurance carrier personnel.
  • Responsible for meeting individual and team monthly sales and quality goals while working in a team environment.
  • Dedicates time to personal professional and job competency development.
  • Completes continuing education requirements to maintain required Property/Casualty insurance license.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Insurance experience a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication, time management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve monthly goals while also working effectively in a collaborative teamorientedenvironment.
  • Property and Casualty insurance license is required. Applicants who do not have a current P&C license will be considered but will be required to obtain their license with our help prior to start date.
