Overview

AssuredPartners's Energy Vertical is excited to add a Property and Casualty licensed Commercial Insurance Placement Executive who has high-level knowledge and technical experience with Energy/Oil & Gas risk solutions in Denver, CO or Houston, TX!

 

The Placement Executive will serve as the primary contact between the Agency and Insurance Carriers for Property and Casualty markets, contracts, and compliance.

What You'll Do

  • Must be able to manage a high level of insurance related information in a variety of formats and be able to identify appropriate carriers for unusual risks in a timely manner.
  • Negotiates premiums, coverages, terms and conditions for prospective clients.
  • Meets with key insurance carrier underwriters and placement staff to maintain and develop business relationships to determine carrier's interest in various classes of business.
  • Serves as a carrier market resource for Producers and Account Executives.
  • Attends meetings to facilitate Emerging Producers prospecting new clients.
  • Creates coverage review to analyze new business opportunities, losses and a summary of the program, including any recommendations to consider.
  • Works closely with the Placement Coordinator to manage the placement process including but not limited to, pre-renewal, submission and quoting, and placement and binding.
  • Facilitates consistent communication cadence between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilizes Agency Management System and drives to maintain customer and prospect files.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel is expected to be 25% in this role

What You'll Need

  • Advanced degree from college or technical school; or 8-10 years of related commercial insurance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Property and Casualty License, required
  • 5 years of Energy/Oil & Gas commercial insurance experience
  • Professional designations such as ERIS and ARM, preferred
  • Tech savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems including EPIC; intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
