ASSYST is looking for a talented ASP.NET Core Developer with expertise in Power BI to join our client’s team for a 100% remote opportunity and contribute to exciting projects for Special Education funded applications. These applications also integrate with other agency systems, driving both business intelligence and web development forward.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using ASP.NET Core.
- Design and implement data models and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft technologies, including C#, Visual Studio, and SQL Server (SSMS).
- Develop and maintain Web APIs using .NET Core, with an understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Design and maintain database schemas and demonstrate proficiency in SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Utilize Entity Framework Core for ORM-based database operations.
- Work with TypeScript, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for front-end development.
- Write integration tests for APIs and front-end applications, along with unit tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficiency in ASP.NET Core and C#.
- Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
- Experience with SQL Server and database design.
- Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks and tools (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, Selenium).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Extensive experience with Power BI, including data modeling and report/dashboard creation.
- Proficiency in data analysis and transformation using Power Query.
- Understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Azure SQL Database and its features.
- Experience with Angular CLI, Angular Material, and RxJS.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.
