ASSYST is seeking an experienced ReactJS Developer to join our client’s dynamic team in Austin, TX. This hybrid position requires onsite presence for 2 days per week. The ideal candidate will have strong front-end development skills with a focus on ReactJS and a solid understanding of modern web application design, development, and integration.
As a ReactJS Developer, you will collaborate with technical architects and other team members to design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain web applications. You will focus on delivering high-quality solutions with an emphasis on performance, accessibility, and responsive design across various platforms and devices.
Job Title: ReactJS Developer
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week)
Duration: 8 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust web applications using ReactJS, TypeScript, Redux, and Material UI.
- Implement responsive and accessible UI/UX designs, ensuring modern web standards are met.
- Integrate React applications with Node.js for server-side rendering and REST services.
- Collaborate with microservices and reporting services such as Power BI.
- Optimize web applications for performance, compatibility, and responsiveness.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and ensure high-quality code through code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues efficiently.
- Work closely with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Support and maintain existing applications using other related technologies as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and front-end frameworks, particularly ReactJS.
- Proficiency in Redux for client state management.
- Experience integrating with CSS frameworks/components like Material UI (MUI).
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript and development in Visual Studio Code.
- Familiarity with version control using GitLab.
- UX design and prototyping experience with a strong focus on accessibility and responsiveness.
- Knowledge of integrating React applications with reporting services such as Power BI.
- Experience with Node.js for server-side integration and rendering.
- Responsive design expertise to ensure applications function seamlessly on various devices (phones, tablets, etc.).
- Background in Java enterprise application development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
