ASSYST is seeking a skilled System Administrator to support the IT requirements of our client in Austin, Texas.
This individual will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and network infrastructure to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a strong background in IT systems, server administration, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software (Windows/Linux).
- Manage and monitor system infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, backups, and security tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Perform regular backup operations and implement disaster recovery and failover procedures.
- Analyze system logs and performance metrics to optimize server performance.
- Maintain security measures including access control, firewall configurations, and patch management.
- Manage and support Microsoft Teams Calling services.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and hardware as needed.
- Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, procedures, and policies in an internal wiki.
- Train and support internal staff on system usage and new technologies.
- 7 years of required experience with networks (physical and logical structures).
- Atleast 7 years of demonstrative knowledge in the Standard practices and procedures in server administration.
- 3 years of required experience with Linux OS.
- 3 years of required experience with Windows OS.
- 3 years of required experience with Microsoft Teams Calling.
- 3 years of required experience in analyzing performance metrics and optimize servers.
- 3 years of required experience in analyzing system logs for troubleshooting.
- 3 years of advanced experience with Microsoft Teams Calling (Preferred).
