Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit and document business and technical requirements through interviews, analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop high-quality user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate closely with product teams, developers, and designers to translate business requirements into effective and accessible user experiences.
- Design mockups, wireframes, and prototypes using tools such as Figma or equivalent software.
- Ensure all designs conform to federal accessibility guidelines and agency UX standards.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and working sessions to refine requirements and validate design solutions.
- Manage requirements documentation throughout the SDLC, ensuring alignment between business needs and delivered solutions.
- Support testing and validation to ensure all requirements are met.
- Assist in post-implementation support, including enhancement requests and user feedback analysis.
- 8 years of experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements.
- 8 years of experience with SDLCs and working closely with development teams.
- 8 years of experience in business process re-engineering and improving software process flows.
- 8 years of experience developing user stories and use cases aligned with business analysis best practices.
- 8 years of experience designing mockups/wireframes aligned with UX best practices.
- 5 years of strong communication and facilitation experience across diverse stakeholder groups.
- 5 years of strong writing and organizational skills.
- 4 years of hands-on experience with Figma or comparable UX design tools.
- 3 years of experience ensuring accessibility compliance with federal web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Experience with Modern Requirements for requirements management.
- Experience with Atlassian Jira for issue tracking.
- Experience working with or for TEA (Texas Education Agency) or other state/local education agencies.
- Background or experience in early childhood care and education.
