As the Client embarks on a comprehensive website redesign in partnership with a third-party vendor, this role will act as the internal Product Owner—ensuring the new digital experience reflects the Client’s values of accessibility, transparency, and resident-focused service. This position will blend product strategy, user-centered design, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor coordination to deliver a modern, accessible, and engaging online platform for the community.

Responsibilities:
- Define and manage the website product vision, roadmap, and success metrics.
- Act as the internal product owner during a major website redesign project.
- Liaise between the client's departments and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.
- Manage the product backlog and validate milestones through feedback cycles.
- Lead user research, usability testing, and community engagement to inform design decisions.
- Ensure compliance with WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to track deliverables, timelines, and risks.
- Develop content governance models and support training for departmental content contributors.
- Plan for ongoing improvements post-launch through analytics, updates, and enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Public Administration, UX Design, Communications, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a digital/web environment.
- Strong understanding of web usability, UX/UI design, responsive design, and accessibility standards (WCAG and Section 508).
- Experience working with CMS platforms like Drupal, WordPress, or Sitecore.
- Skilled in stakeholder facilitation, project coordination, and vendor management.
- Experience leading website redesigns or digital product launches.
- Familiarity with agile workflows and translating user needs into development tasks.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Hotjar.
- Experience with content governance, change management, and team training.
