ASSYST is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our client's Robotic Process Automation (RPA) application development program in Austin, Texas.
This role focuses on developing and supporting applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies specifically Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI. The engineer will be part of a SharePoint team working on enhancing and maintaining a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) application.
Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099)
Job Location: Austin Texas (Hybrid. Mondays Onsite)
Please Note: Position will be 4 days remote with 1 day (Mondays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop software solutions by analyzing user needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Design, develop, and support enhancements for the Robotic Process Automation application.
- Build and maintain Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps using Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other data sources.
- Design and implement Power Automate flows, Desktop Flows, and business process flows for automation.
- Develop Power BI reports to support data visualization and decision-making.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews.
- Investigate and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring robust and scalable software solutions.
- Contribute to and help maintain the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in Software Engineering or Application Development
- 8 years of experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
- 8 years of hands-on development with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
- 8 years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development
- 8 years of experience in designing/developing Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps using Dataverse or SharePoint
- 8 years of experience developing Power BI reports
- 8 years of experience creating Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, and business process flows
- 8 years of experience working with Dataverse tables and solutions
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred:
- 3 years of strong team collaboration and cross-functional teamwork experience
- 3 years of experience working independently and driving results
- 3 years of strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- 1 year of experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center
