ABOUT THE POSITION
Based on information supplied by the field sales staff, internal sales staff, dealer personnel and/or customers, select and recommend the best equipment to meet specific production goals at the most economical price within the Materials Solutions (MS) Group products and services. Develop process flow diagrams, theoretical production reports, equipment layout drawings and equipment quotations. Assist other sales personnel in the development of production and operation cost data, product costing/pricing, sales tools, training materials, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (may include but not limited to)
- Development of process flow diagrams for aggregate processing plants.
- Development of equipment layout drawings for aggregate processing plants.
- Development of standard and non-standard equipment quotations.
- Advise internal and external customers on the proper selection, application, and operation of MS Group products.
- Assist equipment sales, parts sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and service departments with the development of various deliverables as required.
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
- Minimum two-year degree in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Drafting or Engineering Technology is required.
- AutoCad/Inventor (or comparable software) knowledge and experience with 3D design software required.
- Ability to operate general office equipment including personal computers. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Communicate effectively orally and written.
- Good interpersonal relations skills when dealing with management, sales, dealers, customers, and inter-company personnel.
- Ability to manage stressful situations including equipment and/or process problem resolution with customers, dealer personnel, etc.…
- Required to visit construction, quarry and industrial sites with exposure to dust, noise and weather elements; physically able to climb on equipment, aggregates stockpiles, etc.

Manufacturing Environment
Shop manufacturing environment exposures include exposure to moving mechanical parts, machinery, tools and equipment, vibration, fumes or airborne particles, motorized vehicles, welding and machining operations, outside weather conditions and exposure to the risk of electric shock. The employee may occasionally be exposed to varying levels of dirt, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, very warm and/or very chilly temperatures. The noise level in the shop can be very loud at times consistent with an industrial assembly facility and may require hearing protection.
