ABOUT THE POSITION
Responsible for plant set-up, maintenance, and repairs with minimal supervision.
Deliverables & Responsibilities :
- Must be fully competent in all aspects of fabrication and assembly of major asphalt equipment with minimal supervision.
- Must be fully experienced in plant assembly and operation specifications.
- Must be able to build A / C Piping and Hot Oil Piping.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Must be able to read set-up prints and lay out a jobsite.
- Ability to read and comprehend set-up drawings and subassembly drawings.
- Rigging and crane knowledge is required.
- Must be physically able to perform all aspects of the job in outdoor conditions, i.e. climbing with fall protection and training, standing for long periods, and exposure to extreme elements and harsh conditions.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
- Follow proper safety rules and procedures at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Manufacturing Environment
Shop manufacturing environment exposures include exposure to moving mechanical parts, machinery, tools and equipment, vibration, fumes or airborne particles, motorized vehicles, welding and machining operations, outside weather conditions and exposure to the risk of electric shock. The employee may occasionally be exposed to varying levels of dirt, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, very warm and / or very chilly temperatures. The noise level in the shop can be very loud at times consistent with an industrial assembly facility and may require hearing protection.
