Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our quality assurance team at Future Tech Metals. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for evaluating products and processes, utilizing various tools and techniques to ensure adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements.
Duties
- Program / Run CMM
- Manual Inspections
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize schematics and CAD drawings to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform measurements using calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
- Interpret codes and standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with CNC machining teams to assess product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of findings.
- Identify non-conformance issues and work with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the development of inspection protocols and procedures to enhance quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience as an Inspector
- Familiar with CMM Manager
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and machining processes is preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality standards including ISO 13485 and ISO 9001.
- Experience using calipers, gauges, and other measurement tools effectively.
- Solid mathematical skills for precise calculations related to measurements and tolerances.
- Knowledge of Calypso software for inspection data analysis is a plus.
- Attention to detail with excellent observational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role is advantageous.
Shift Hours
- 6:00am- 4:30pm
- 10-12 hour shifts
- Weekends Optional
