Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC machinery and a strong understanding of programming and tooling.
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on machines
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
- Supervising a small staff of 3-4 employees
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machinery
- Knowledge of GD&T, CAD, and logic controllers
- Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Familiarity with tooling and machining processes
-Okuma experience would be favorable
- Experience with press brake machines and forklift operation is a plus
- Ability to assemble parts accurately
