NDT Level II Inspector

THE COMPANY:

POSITION SUMMARY:

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assures that material and parts are properly processed to the applicable NDT Method Specification.

2. Reads and interprets indications and evaluates discontinuities referencing applicable quality documents.

3. Performs or verifies the performance of systems capability checks specified in the applicable NDT Method Specification.

4. Sets up equipment, as applicable.

5. Develops NDT Techniques.

6. Organizes, reports, and maintains records of NDT inspection results.

7. May drive company vehicle or forklift

8. Performs Level I responsibilities, as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Requires certification as an NDT Level II in one NDT method and a Level I in any other NDT method. Qualified in processor maintenance and to perform visual weld inspection a plus.

· and understand written planning and follow verbal instructions.

· Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force

· Prolonged periods of standing

· Requires repetitive use of hands

· May require sitting, walking, bending over, crawling, climbing reaching over, crouching kneeling, balancing, grasping and pushing or pulling

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force, may exert up to 75 pounds of force on limited bases.

Prolonged periods of standing

Repetitive use of foot controls

Requires repetitive use of hands

May require sitting, walking, bending over, crawling, climbing reaching over, crouching kneeling, balancing, grasping and pushing or pulling

May be exposed to dust, gas, fumes or strong aromas.

Requires frequent exposure to manufacturing equipment and machinery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
