Purpose :
The purpose of this position is to support the Head, Commercial Excellence and Engagement in developing and implementing Astellas capabilities, processes, and governance in support of our priority brands.
Essential Job Responsibilities :
This position will collaborate directly with members of our priority brands to facilitate completion of projects by a set deadline to advance business initiatives. Essential job responsibilities will include :
- Serving as a strategic thought partner to Astellas stakeholders.
- Setting schedules and budgets for identified projects which may include activities related to launch excellence, loss of exclusivity planning, life cycle management, and other commercial and operational strategic initiatives.
- Determining deliverables and delegating tasks.
- Supporting agile ways of working.
- Ensuring project execution and keeping projects on schedule.
- Performing ongoing project monitoring and communications with stakeholders on progress and next steps.
- Performing quality control to maintain expected standards.
- Ensuring closing procedures are followed for completed projects.
- Serving as point of contact for teams when multiple functions are involved to ensure alignment.
- Providing operational, business planning and strategic communications support to the Sr Director, Commercial Excellence and Engagement as well as ad-hoc operational, business planning and critical communications.
- Working with members of the US Strategy and Planning team to provide line of sight on priority brand priorities to facilitate information sharing and alignment.
