Summary: This exempt position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources & Administrative staff and performing a wide range of administrative and clerical functions in a timely manner consistent with corporate policy and legal guidelines. Support human resources activities including but not limited to the following: screening and interviewing applicants, preparing payroll, and administering employee benefit programs and other duties as assigned. This position exercises independent judgment routinely and operates within established guidelines.
Essential Functions: Includes the following (other duties may be documented and assigned by local management and some duties may not apply dependent upon the requirements of the position and/or the strengths of the employee and the needs of the company):
Education: High school graduate or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree and professional certification (PHR) preferred.
Experience: 2-4 years prior related experience preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervisory responsibilities may be possible to perform the job duties as designated by area management.
Working Conditions: Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Ability to work 40 – 60 hours per week.
Travel: Domestic and international may be required as needed.
Work Environment: Working in an office environment with exposure to manufacturing areas.

- May assist with payroll administration for exempt and non-exempt personnel.
- May assist with health, welfare and worker’s compensation plan administration including enrollments and terminations.
- Assist and support with preparation for all required new hire, transfer and termination processes including affirmative action plan documentation.
- Create and maintain all employee records.
- May assist with various general HR programs such as tuition reimbursement, and uniform program, etc.
- Assist the department on a wide variety of Human Resources projects.
- Assist with employee communication and relations activities as required.
- Planning & coordinating of company events and activities.
- Supports the company’s corporate social responsibility programs within the community.
- Support HR performance management processes.
- Ensure legal compliance in all Human Resource actions.
- Support all department/organizational training and development requirements.
- Support all business objectives of the company by aligning Human Resource activities with the organizational goals and objectives.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff required. The ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information is required.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and follows all regulations and requirements related to safety and environmental compliance.
- Responsible for following all quality policy standards.
