Job Title: Plant Manager

General Scope of Responsibilities:
The Site Leader is responsible for strategic leadership of the Site and its staff. This person will oversee day-to-day operations and guide the site in its quest to successfully accomplish its long-term goals, objectives, and policies.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Clinton, SC manufacturing facility, optimizing profitability and cash flow.
• Improve and report on key performance indicators to senior management.
• Ensure that production targets are met, and quality standards are maintained.
• Manage the performance of the manufacturing team and ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
• Continuously lead and pursue a Zero Accident Culture. Drive all aspects of the Zero Accident Culture initiative.
• Ensure that the facility is well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the facility operates efficiently and effectively.
• Continuously improve admin functions and IT systems for optimal effectiveness
• Ensure the talent plan is kept up to date.

Qualifications & Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to work extended and flexible hours, as needed.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Lean Certified preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit/stand at a desk, and in meetings as needed
• Walking throughout the manufacturing facility and office area
• Ability to wear safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and earplugs while in manufacturing area
• Ability to lift 10-20lbs

Direct: Reports to President PMC
Coordination: Works closely with Manufacturing, HR, and CIT to achieve site goals
