What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at Astera Health?
Astera Health is looking for a part-time Phlebotomist to join our team. The primary role for the Phlebotomist is to obtain samples, perform designated clinical laboratory tests.
This position is scheduled for 64 hours per bi-weekly pay period, primarily day shifts with every 5th weekend and holiday rotation. Responsibilities required, but not limited to:
- Order entry
- Specimen collection and processing
- Perform ECGs
Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Phlebotomy experience Or; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties of the job as listed above.
