Job description
We are looking for an experienced Recruiter in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assisting with interviewing and hiring qualified candidates for open positions in the ABA Industry. The Recruiter will actively use various methods to source potential candidates, such as job posting platforms, networking events, and social media. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to evaluate candidates quickly and accurately.
Under the direct supervision of the HR Manager a Recruiter's responsibilities include:
- Facilitate and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Efficiently implement the recruiting methods and strategies in place.
- Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Screen applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews, preparing interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assist with the onboarding of selected candidates.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- Two (2) years of the recruitment and hiring processes in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
