Job Title – IT Tier II Tech Support (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location - Belvidere, NJ (On-site role)
(Note - Only local. around 45 minutes away)
Job Overview: Provide advanced desktop support and troubleshooting, ensuring smooth IT system operations for clients. Responsible for installing, diagnosing, and resolving desktop application and hardware issues, delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop applications and hardware.
- Provide Tier I and Tier II support for end-users.
- Assist with new user setups and support for Line of Business (LOB) applications.
- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation.
- Analyze and resolve client issues via telephone, email, and remote support.
- Track and escalate client issues using a ticketing system.
- Install and configure hardware (e.g., PCs, printers, peripherals) up to 50lbs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with Tier I and Tier II technical support.
- Proficient in desktop applications, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Physical ability to handle equipment up to 50lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Line of Business (LOB) applications.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
