Floral Shop Assistant/Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring the shop is well-organized and welcoming. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
• Provide knowledgeable advice on lawn care products and services.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain an organized and tidy shop environment, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Utilize retail math skills to ensure accurate pricing and sales reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with multilingual customers to provide an inclusive shopping experience.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail operations.
• Basic knowledge of lawn care products is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
• Owned Vehicle is a plus
• MUST BE AVAILABLE HOLIDAYS WEEKENDS

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
