Kitchen and Bath Designer

Astir Interiors, an up and coming building materials company, is looking to hire a Cabinet Sales and Design Manager to help the business grow.

As a Cabinet Sales and Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading, directing and developing the sales associates to drive success with desiging and selling solutions to clients, ensuring their needs and preferences are met in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include...

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, team members and other managers to align on processes and ensure success across the organization
• Utilize design softwares to create detailed floor plans, elevations and 3D renderings of cabinetry designs; support and train sales associates, ensuring a high level of functionality and understanding
• Model behaviors that will help the team meet clients' expectations, provide excellent service, and build long-term relationships and repeat customers
• Ensure accuracy with measurements, materials, preventing errors and producing high-quality work to ensure projects are ready for installation
• Motivate the sales associates, and foster a positive work environment. They need to inspire and guide their team members toward success
• Estimate project costs and provide clients with proposals
• Conduct bi-annual performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required qualifications and skills include...

• Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in kitchen and bath design, with a focus on sales
• Experience leading a team is a plus
• Strong knowledge of kitchen and bath products, materials and finishes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit with willingness to learn other programs including but not limited to 3CAD, Metron and 2020
• Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• May be required to visit the job site occasionally for measurements, installation supervision, etc.
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk working on a computer, utilize the phone, walk around the showroom and conduct meetings with customers in person

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
